New? Start Here!

Welcome! We’re so excited you’re here!

Our goal is to help make dinnertime less stressful and more enjoyable. We’ve done all the planning so you can save all that time and energy for tasks that are more fun.

With that goal in mind, we’ve tried to make What’s For Dinner easy to navigate and use so you can get what you need as quickly as possible and get back to doing the other things you love.

Here’s a quick rundown on the things you need to know to get the most out of your membership:

  • You will always have 4 weeks of meal plans in your dashboard
  • Every Friday, we upload a new meal plan
  • Each meal plan includes 6 dinner recipes and 6 side dishes
  • Customize the servings for each dinner or side dish by clicking the – or + sign at the bottom of the recipe card

Each week you’ll also find recipes for alternate cooking methods (Air Fryer, Grill, Instant Pot, and Slow Cooker) that you can add (or exchange for other dishes in the week) to inspire you to use your other cooking appliances.

Making Changes to a Meal Plan

If you want to swap out recipes in the meal plan, you must first save the meal plan to your collections by clicking the first icon in the upper right corner

The collection will be saved to your favorites, which you can find in your dashboard.

Click on the weekly meal plan in Your Collections to edit the selections. Then you can remove any meals you want to swap out.

Now, you can select a new recipe to add in its place.

After you click on the + button next to Recipes, you’ll be able to search through all available recipes to find a new one you prefer.

Shopping List

Generating and tweaking your shopping list is simple! Just click on the shopping cart once you’ve finished reviewing your weekly meal plan.

Then, select all the meals to generate a complete list. If you want to include ingredient notes, you can check that box too. It is not selected in the image below.

The shopping list will be created. If you don’t want to make any changes, you can skip the next step and go directly to printing the recipe.

However, if you want to add or delete items, click the edit icon.

Now, you can edit your shopping list. Simply delete items you already have on hand and add any other items you need for other meals. You can also change the quantities if you need more or less of any ingredient.

Your shopping list is ready to print to make grocery shopping a breeze! Or, even better, order online for pick up or delivery and save yourself even more time.
